
Outlander-inspired “Castle Sleeves" by Katherine Moody
Materials needed: (1) skein worsted weight yarn Size H crochet hook (5.0 mm)

PATTERN
Braided cable ·CH 10. SC in 2nd chain from hook and each chain across (9 SC). CH 3; turn. · DC in first stitch and each stitch across. CH 1; turn. SC in first stitch and each stitch across. CH 3; turn. This is your foundation. DC in first two stitches. FPTR into the next double crochet on row 2. Skip next stitch; FPTR into the next two double crochets on row two. Staying on the front of your work, go back and FPTR into the double crochet stitch that you skipped on row 2. FPTR into next double crochet on row 2. DC into next two stitches. CH 1; turn. SC in each stitch across (9 SC). Repeat pattern above until you have 12 repeats, or cuff is desired length. Seam at top and bottom to form a cuff.
SLEEVE&FINISHING
SC around the top of your cuff and fasten off. This will tidy up your edges. Begin new SC at the bottom of your cuff and after completion of row 1, continue SC in spiral formation until sleeve is desired length. Fasten off.
