ONDULEUX "WAVY" CABLES SCARF
I promise! That's all there is to it. In this pattern, if you remove the cables, it's basically just k1, pl ribbing all the way up. It's delicious combo of cables with the lesser used k1 pl ribbing that "hides" the purls and shows the knit stitches, making it appear as if there's only knit stitches among the cables.

Begin raveling remaining 3 (4 or 5 stitches) at beginning and end of row. Start slowly as you must maintain the amount of stitches all the way down the side. As you ravel, each sequence of two rows which forms a loop, tie an overhand knot and push up close to side of scarf. Follow this procedure down one side first and then the other. To Trim: Hook in one silk ribbon through the scarf with crochet hook near the bottom and chain link into the scarf at random and artistically meandering intervals as embroidery. This may also be done with a large yarn needle. Use 6-8 ribbons for this. Cut two ribbons in random lengths and hook on ends of scarf as fringe. Note: a longer scarf may be achieved by using less stitches (11 or 13) in center section with the 3 stitches on outer edge.
