Mrs U Makes... Onika's CowI

Mrs U Makes
Onika's Cowl
I made the original cowl for my niece who was longing for me to make something just for her. Being the fashionista that she is it had to be something that was IN. As she constantly “borrowed" scarves belonging to other family members, I thought that a cowl would not only provide the function of a scarf but also a look that was different to what the rest of the family were using. I chose the yarn used because it was good value, and worked up well. She of course chose the colour.

Pattern Specifics
The cowl is worked using knit and purl stitches; it is so simple that a novice could make it. The whole pattern is repeated after 29 rows, so if you wanted to make it longer just work more repeats ending with a repeat of row 29. I have not stated a gauge as this is not important for this item.
