Technique
sc2tog: [insert hook in next st, yarn over and draw yarn through st] 2 times, yarn over and draw through 3 loops on hook.
Instructions
Body
Round 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook (6). Round 2: 2 sc in each st around (12). Round 3: [Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st] 6 times (18). Round 4: [Sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st] 6 times (24). Round 5: [Sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st] 6 times (30). Round 6 to 15: Sc in each sc around (30). Round 16: [Sc2tog, sc in next 3 sts] 6 times (24). Round 17: Sc in each sc around (24). Round 18: [Sc2tog, sc in next 2 sts] 6 times (18). Round 19: Sc in each sc around (18). Round 20: [Sc2tog, sc in next st] 6 times (12). Round 21: Sc in each sc around (12). Round 22: Sc2tog 6 times (6). Leave a long tail and fasten off. Using a tapestry needle weave the tail through the stitches in round 22 and close the circle.
Ears (make 2):
Round 1: Using white ch 10, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in next 2 ch, hdc in next 3 ch, dc in next 2 ch, 7 dc in last ch, dc in next 2 ch on the other side, hdc in next 3 ch, sc in last 3 ch. Join with a sl st and fasten off. Round 2: Join mC and sc in each st around. Fasten off.
Tail (make 2):
Using pompom maker and white yarn make 2 small pompoms for tail
Flower
Round 1: Using pink and G/4.00 mm crochet hook, ch 4 and join to form a ring. Round 2: [Ch 3, sc into ring] 5 times (5 loops) Round 3: [sc, 3 dc, sc] into each loop. Fasten off.
Mustache
Using black and G/4.00 mm crochet hook ch 15, Sl st into 2nd ch from hook, sl in next ch, sc in next 3 ch, hdc in next 4 ch, sc in next 3 ch, sl st in next 2 ch. Fasten off.
Finishing
Sew the ears to the top of the body. For Mrs. Bernard Bunny sew the flower below the left ear. Sew the pompoms to the back. Sew two buttons for eyes. For Mrs. Bernard Bunny sew an X about half inch below the eye level. For Mr. Bernard Bunny sew the mustache below the eyes. while sewing use tapestry needle and main color yarn (tan) so that the stitches are not visible.
