Materials:

1 skein Misti Alpaca Chunky 100% baby alpaca (109 yards/1o0grams) or similar chunky weight soft yarn Size 13 circular needle, 16" to 24" Cable needle in your favorite shape Cast on 77 stitches. Join to begin knitting in the round, being careful not to twist work.

Rows 1 - 7: P1 [K8, P3] around to last 2 stitches, P2 Row 8 (cable row): P1 [C8F, P3] around to last 2 stitches, P2 Repeat until desired length or until there is just enough yarn to bind off all stitches. Bind off stitches as they present themselves - bind off knit stitches knitwise and bind off purl stitches purlwise. C8F - Slip four stitches to a cable needle and hold to the front of the work. Knit next four stitches on the left-hand needle, then knit the four stitches from the cable needle.
