Colorado Columbine Flower Pattern
Any Small Amounts of Worsted Weight Yarn Crochet Hook - Size I (5.5mm)


Abbreviations:
Ch = chain Sc = single crochet Dc = double crochet Sl st = slip stitch Picot = (ch3, join to 1st chain with a sl st)
Flower:
With yellow yarn and using the magic loop method, make ring (OR chain 4 and join to form a ring): Round 1: 5 sc in ring, join with sl st to first sc. End yellow. Round 2: With white yarn, ch3, dc, ch3, sl st (all in first st), petal made. \*(sl st in next, ch 3, dc, ch3, sl st in same st) Repeat from \* 3 more times for a total of 5 petals. Join with sl st to beginning st. Round 3: BEHIND petals, ch3, sl st join between back of petals. Repeat 5x total. (5 chain 3 spaces). End white. Round 4: With periwinkle yarn \*(sl st, ch3, dc, dc, picot, dc, dc, ch3, sl st) all in ch 3 - repeat around 4x for a total of 5 petals Finish off and weave in ends.
