Finishing
With a tapestry needle, weave in loose yarn. Sew the cast on edge to the bound off edge in order to close the gautlets, HOWEVER, leave a two inch opening in the seam for the thumb hole approximately 1.5 inches from the fingers' edge. The gauntlets will be a snug fit. Enjoy!

TIPS
米 In order to ensure that the striping pattern is mirrored on the right and left gauntlets, form the thumb hole near stitches 10-22 on the first gauntlet and stitches 39-50 on the other. 米 If you want to reverse the gauntlets in order to wear the purl side showing, turn them inside out and switch right and left hands.
