Easy as 1, 2, 3 Hat. By Turner SR
Abstract
This hat is easy as 1, 2, 3. One Skein. Two Hours. Three Steps.

1-Knit, 2-Seam, 3-PomPom.
Introduction
I was walking around in a Micheals the other night and this neon flecked, super-bulky yarn called out to me. So I took it home and designed an easy cozy hat while watching Master Chef Canada, and Top Chef.

&Cast on 44 stitches using your cast on method of choice. Row 1: RS \*K1, P3 3\* repeat to end (44). Row 2: WS \*K3, Pl 1\* repeat to end (44). Repeat rows 1 and 2 until piece measures 9 inches from start.
End with a WS row.
Row 1: RS \*K1, P2tog, P1\* Repeat to end. (33) Row 2: WS \*K2, P1\* Repeat to end. (33) Row 3: RS \*K1, P2tog\* Repeat to end. (22) Row 4: WS \*K1, P1\* Repeat to end (22) Cut yarn leaving a long tail. Thread yarn through remaining stitches on needle. Remove from needle and pull tight. Using long tail, sew the side seam.
