Stitch Glossary
- K - Knit - Slip 1 - Insert right-hand needle into first stitch on left-hand needle as if to purl. Slip stitch onto right hand needle. For this pattern, stitches are always slipped with yarn held in back. K2tog - Insert needle into next 2 stitches on left-hand needle. Knit together as 1 stitch.
Directions -
With smaller needle, and color A, cast on 156 stitces. Place marker and join for knitting in the round, being careful not to twist stitches.
Work in 2x2 Rib:

Begin decreases, switching to DPN's when needed. Round 1 - \*K11, K2tog, Repeat from \* to end. (144 stitches remain) Rounds 2,4,6, 8, 10,& 12 - Knit Round 3 - \*K10, K2tog, Repeat from \* to end. (132) Round 5 - \*K9, K2tog, Repeat from \* to end. (120) Round 7 - \*K8, K2tog, Repeat from \* to end. (108) Round 9 - \*K7, K2tog, Repeat from \* to end. (96) Round 11 - \*K6, K2tog, Repeat from \* to end. (84) Round 13 - \*K5, K2tog, Repeat from \* to end. (72) Round 14 - \*K1, K2tog, Repeat from \* to end. (48) Round 15 - \*K2tog, Repeat to end. (24) Round 16 - \*K2tog, Repeat to end. (12)
Break yarn. Weave through remaining stitches and pull to close. Weave in ends.
