
Materials: 100 grams, 3.5 oz of sock weight yarn Rainbow shawl pictured used 95g of Little Monkey's Stitch n Spin's Metamorphosis Gradient, Twinkle Toes Sock, in colorway “Roy G. Biv" 3 stitchmarkers US 5 needles, or size needed for gauge Gauge: 11 sts per 2 inches in stockinette Note: gauge is not critical, work at a gauge that complements your yarn, differences in gauge may change the finished size of your shawl Setup: CO9 1. (WS) K4, yo, p1, yo, k4. 2. (RS) K4, kfb, k1, kfb, k4. 3. (WS) K4, yo, p2, yo, p1, yo, p2, yo, k4. 4. (RS) K4, kfb, k to last 5 sts, kfb, k4. 5. (WS) K4, PM, yo, p5, yo, pm, p1, yo, p5, yo, PM, k4. Work Stockinette section until work measures at least 1 inch from cast on edge. Alternate between stockinette and garter sections, working each section for as many rows as desired, until you have about 20% of yarn remaining, or piece is 1 inch from desired length. (Note: I prefer to work at least two repeats of stockinette between each garter section) Finish by working about 1”" of garter, bind off loosely and block lightly. Stockinette Section: 1.
