This funky hood can be worked up quickly with just under 100g of double knit 8ply yarn. The hood section is easy to work with half double crochet stitches from the back to the front, leading on to a wonderfully chunky ribbed band using front post and back post double crochet stitches. The hood is finished with herringbone half double crochet ties with chunky knots tied at the tops.

What you will need:

Finishing

Fold over the tie and use a darning needle to sew up the edges BUT don't sew the last row together as this will distort the band. Repeat for the other side. Then tie your knots up near the band and you're done. I hope you enjoy making your Knot Just Any Hood!
