Crocheted mango, banana, pineapple, coconut, and papaya Version A-2 January 7, 2007 Materials Needed: -Any worsted weight wool - I used Fisherman's Wool - small amounts of eachcolor -G hook or hook needed to obtain gauge -Stuffing of your choice - this can be wool roving, polyester fiberfill, fabric, scraps o yarn...use your imagination. -Stiff (hook) side of Velcro or similar touchtape Gauge: 4.5 sts and 4.5 rows per inch in single crochet Mango: I made the mango with undyed (natural yarm, and then dip dyed it with kool-aid after it was crocheted and stuffed. Foundation round: W/ red or orange (or natural - see above), ch 2, 8 nd sc in 2 ch from hook. Join w/ sl st. (8 sc) Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in 1 st, 2 sc in next st (sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) around. Join w/ sl st. (12 sc) Rnd 2: Ch 1, (sc in the next 2 sc, 2 sc in the next sc) around. Join w/ sl st. (16 sc) Rnd 3: Ch 1, sc in each sc around. Join w/ sl st. Rnd 4: Ch 1, (sc in the next 3 sc, 2 sc in the next sc) around. Join w/ sl st. (20 sc) Rnd 5: Repeat rnd 3. Rnd 6: Ch 1, (sc in the next 4 sc, 2 sc in the next sc) around. Join w/ sl st. (6 sc) Rnd 2: Ch i, 2 sc in $1^{\mathrm{st}}$ st, sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in last st. Join w/sl st. (8 sc) Rnd 3: Ch 1, 2 sc in $1^{\mathrm{st}}$ st, sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in next 2 st, sc in next 2 sts, 2 sc in last st. Join w/ sl st. (12 sc) Rnds 4-10: Ch 1, sc in each sc around. Join w/ sl st.
