Sorry my English is not the best. The original pattern is in German. Sue Berg designed the pattern , Paradiesvogel". I've reworked Sue's pattern with her consent. Yarn: 100g (LL400m/100g e.g. Stellina Sparkle Yarn from Wolle Kunterbunt) Needle US 4 - 3.5 mm The shawl is knitted from the top center. Chart B shows only stitches right from the center stitch. 2 border stitches are included in the chart. For the lef side repe. chart without border stitches after you worked the center stitch, add two border stitches at the end of the row. The yellow part wil be knitted 9 times. Cast on 5 stitches (char A, row 1). Work one garter stitch row (knit alstitches). In row 4 and all following wrongside rows work stitches as they appear. Yarn ove (Yo) are always purled, purl center stitch, knit all border stitches. Repeat chart A until there are 185 stitches on needle. Then work chart B. Knit in row 49 (do not work kfb) Loosely bind of in the last wrongside row (row 58).
