Simple and elegant shawe. Thanhs to this boucle yarn you can almost touck the colour. Good for advanced beginners or for those of you, who woued just want to practice knitting of a Goucle yarn.
Needles:
5 mm and 6 mm.
Yarn:
Alize Rainbow, 15% alpaca, 15% wool, 60% acrylic. These yarn balls are huge, about 350 g. and 875 m., there's abut 1/3 of it left after knitting this shawl.
Stitches:
Garter sts - back and forth on needle, knit all rows on 5 mm needles. Stockinette stitch from right side, reverse stotcking stitches from wrong side on 6 mm needles. nitting tension: 13 sts x 28 rows on needle size 5 mm i garter sth = 10 cm x 10 cm So lets start!

Cast on 30 sts (including 1 edge stitch each side) or enought to get 25 cm/ about 9,8". I made a provinsional cast on using a crochet chain made of waist yarn, so to remove it after knitting the shawl and make the kitchener stitch as I don't like seams. Knit 20 rows garter stitch or to get 7 cm (\~ 2,75"). Then change to needles to 6 mm and knit stockinette stitch from right side, reverse stocking stitches from wrong side. On first row increase 26 stitches evenly. I made it like that: 1 edge stitch, 3 sts in stockin stitch, 9 x inc 1 stitch (=18 sts), 2 x inc 2 stitches ( =6 sts), 9 x inc 1 stitch ( =18 sts), 3 sts in stocking stitch, 1 edge stitch. After increasing there are 56 sts on the needle, including 1 edge stitch each side. When piece measures 146 cm = 57,5" (7 cm=2,75" garter stitch and 139 cm54,7" stockinette stitch), change needles to 5 mm and decrease the same as it was whille increasing: 1 edge stitch, 3 sts in stocking stitch, 9 x knit 2 sts together, 2 x knit 3 sts togehter, 9 x knit 2 sts together, 3 sts in stocking stitch, 1 edge stitch. There are 30 sts on needle. Work one row garter stitch and sew the shawl together using the kitchener stich. If you cast on normally, then just cast off and sew a shawl togehther.
