Materials needed:
Yarn: Worsted to light worsted weight, approximately 150 yards and a small amount of wasteyarn. Needles: Size 7, 16 inch circular needle Tapestry Needle: 1 Gauge: 5 stitches to the inch
Cowl
On size 7, 16 inch circular knitting needle cast on 114 stitches and join for working in the round. Rounds 1-10 \*K4, P2\* rep from \* to end of round. Round 11 \*K2, K2tog, YO, P2\* rep from \* to end of round. Round 12 \*K4, P2\* rep from \* to end of round. Round 13 \*K1, K2tog, Y0, K1, P2\* rep from \* to end of round. Round 14 \* K4, P2\* rep from \* to end of round. Round 15 \* K2tog, Y0, K2, P2\* rep from \* to end of round. Round 16 \*K4, P2\* rep from \* to end of round. Rounds 11 thru 16 set lace pattern. Repeat rounds 11-16 until piece measures 6 inches from cast on edge. Work 10 rounds in \*K4, P2\* rib as in beginning of pattern. Bind off in rib and weaveinends.
