YaYa's RED-y for Spring

Are you waiting for the weather to catch up with the season? It's been a crazy couple of years for weather. The winter had a number of warm days followed by weeks of freezing winds and rain. Spring temperatures register as warm, but the skies are cloudy and the breezes are chilly. A coat is too much. A jacket is not enough. We still need a cowl. One Size: 30"around and 9" high after gentle blocking. To adjust size, increase or decrease in multiples of 9. Note that sample cowl is stretchy enough to be worn around the shoulders. Yarn used: Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash Paints (3.5 oz/100 g) - Cherry Pie Of the single skein used, 1 had 5/8 of an ounce left after completing the cowl. If I'm remembering how to calculate ratios correctly, that's about 39 yards. Needles: ChiaoGoo 24" bamboo circulars - US 8 (5.0 mm) Gauge: Not critical to this project
