YaYa LovesToKnit A quick fashion accessory to add a pop of color and texture to your outfit. Lightweight and comfortable to wear. One Size: 8" high x 30" around. Sample was not blocked or steame Yarn Used: One 4-oz skein worsted weight yarn. Sample was made using 1 skein of Deborah Norville's Everyday Soft Worsted in orchid (4-oz/113 g, 203 yds/186 m). 34-0z remained after bind-off. Needles: ChiaoGoo circular needles, US #8 (5.5 mm), 24" : Tools: stitch marker, a pin or removable stitch marker, darning need Gauge: Not significant, but gauge for the sample was 24 rows x 17 stitches for a 4" square. Abbreviations Used: K - knit P- purl Cast on 115 stitches. Place stitch marker to indicate beginning of round in preparation for knitting in the round. Join taking care to not twist stitches. 1. Purl one round. 2. Knit one round. 3. Remove stitch marker from the needle, but place a pin or removable stitch marker so you can still identify your beginning of round for step 5. Because there is an odd number of cast-on stitches, the diagonal design will form without you having to adjust your stitches after each round. Do not stop at the end of round. 4. [K3, p3] around and continue until you've knit 1-3/4 inches from the knit round in step 2. Keeping in pattern, stop near your beginning of round. 5. Place stitch marker. Knit one round. Purl one round. Knit one round. 6. Repeat step 4 and 5 twice more. 7. Repeat step 4. 8. Purl one round. 9. Bind off. Secure and weave in yarn ends.
