Tardis Beanie
Pattern by Morgan Kenai Andrews This pattern is for all those Doctor Who lovers out there!

Materials: US Size 8 (5mm) Circular Needles, 16" US Size 8 (5mm) Double Pointed Needles Grey Yarn, Worsted \~150 yards Blue Yarn, Worsted \~50 yards I used Uptown Worsted Tapestry Needle Grey Thread
Guage:
20 stitches X 26 rows = 4"X4" in Stockinette stitch

Note:
· This pattern is for a medium size adult head. For a larger or smaller hat add or remove stitches in increments of 13. When knitting in Fair Isle pattern make sure to hold the dormant yarn very loosely. Pulling it too tight along the inside of the hat will cause the beanie to warp and be too tight. Key: K: knit Ktog: knit two together
Pattern:
1) Cast on 91 stitches onto the circular needles 2) \*K1 P1, repeat from \* until one stitch remains. K1 a) Because of the uneven number of stitches, when knitting in the round you will have two knit stitchesnexttoeachother 4) Knit one round

11) Begin decreases a)\*K to two before marker, Ktog. Repeat from \* until end of round b) Knit round c) Repeat steps a and b until 10 stitches remain. When it becomes difficult decreasing on circular needles, transfer stitches to double pointed needles i) If desired, to avoid a pointy top when four stitches remain in between each marker continue decreasing omitting the knit rounds in between each decrease round. 12) Use tapestry needle and thread yarn tail through the remaining stitches. Pull tight to synch 13)Bury all ends
