Candice hat & blanket
page 1/3 Difficulty: intermediate Needles: 6 mm circ. & 1 cable ndl Yarn weight: chunky Sizes: 6/12 (18/24) months This blanket and matching hat were inspired by the beautiful softness and adorable colour of the recommended yarn, Cocoon by Bergere de France. Candice is the name of the adorable lilac-pink colour shown in the photos. It is a very unusual yarn, slightly fluffy and vary light and airy even though it's rather chunky. I just knew I had to make something snuggly with it, and with a name like Candice, it had to be girly! The honeycomb pattern stitch produces an extra thick fabric, ideal for wrapping litle ones up in the soff warmth of a handmade blanket.
