Materials:
Approximately 150 yards of DK weight yarn Sample shown used 140 yards of Knitpicks Swish in "Bark" (100% superwash merino, 123 yards/50g)
Sizing:
One Size Fits Most - Finished cowl should measure approximately 6 12" wide by 7 1/2" tall when laid flat and unstretched
Gauge:
26 sts & 34 rows = 4" in main body pattern
Needles:
ed needle size: 4 US/3.5mm in your choice of DPNs or 16" circular needle
Tools:
Cable needle stitch marker blunt tapestry needle or crochet hook for weaving in ends
Instructions:
CO 112 sts and join in round, being careful not to twist the stitches. Place marker. Work in k2, p2 ribbing for 1 12 inches, ending at marker. Sl marker, K2tog and using either the written or charted directions, start working in pattern (111 sts) Round 1: (p2, C6B, p2, k2, pl, k2, pl, k2, p2, C3R, k1, C3L, p2, k2, pl, k2, pl, k2) repeat 2 more times. Round 2 - 5: (p2, k6, p2, k2, pl, k2, pl, k2, p2, k7, p2, k2, p1, k2, p1, k2) repeat 2 more times. Round 6: (p2, C6F, p2, k2, pl, k2, pl, k2, p2, C3R, k1, C3L, p2, k2, pl, k2, p1, k2) repeat 2 more times. Round 7 - 10: (p2, k6, p2, k2, p1, k2, pl, k2, p2, k7, p2, k2, p1, k2, pl, k2) repeat 2 more times. Repeat Rounds 1-10 four times or until piece measures approximately 6" from CO, ending at marker. kfb in the first st after marker (112 sts). Work in k2, p2 ribbing for 1 %2 inches. Bind off loosely.
