Criss Cross Double Cowl
The Criss Cross Double Cowl can be whipped together in a few evenings. It is made up of only one rectangular piece with no increases or decreases, stitched together in one short seam. Choose two colours that complement each other, or maybe one of the yarns self-striping, like in the pictures. A filling wool yarn knitted into this snood should keep you cozy all winter!

Assembly
Lay the piece out flat with right side up. Twist it one full turn in the middle, and make sure both ends are laying right side up. Pick up the ends, join them right side to right side and stitch together.

Hints for blocking
Weave in all ends. I recommend only a light press of the seam. Leave the rest of your snood bulky and it will automatically be willing to curl in the edges to hide the wrong side of the fabric. Now it is ready to use! Enjoy!
