Materials:

-Cotton-Ease: Snow (MC), Berry (CC) 1 skein each. [If you would like to substitute yarns, this is the approximate yardage for each: (MC) 150 (175, 200) yds, (CC) 15 (25, 35) yds] Size8 $(5\mathrm{mm})$ ·$16^{\prime\prime}$ circular or set of 5 double-pointed needles. -Markers (one should be different to mark the beginning of each rnd) Gauge: 19 st and $24\,\mathrm{rows}=4$ inches

Hat body:

CO 92 (100, 108) st with MC. Pm to mark the beginning of each rnd. P2, K2 for 1.5 inches Work 1 inch in stockinette. Work round 1-10 of colorwork chart. Knit each round with MC until piece measures 7 (7.5, 8) inches from cast-on edge. (If you would like your hat to be more slouchy, add an extra inch or two here. Please note that you will need more yarn if you want more slouch.)

Crown shaping:

Rnd 1:\*k 21 (23, 25), k2tog, repeat from \* to end. 88 (96, 104) st remaining. Rnd 2: \*k 11 (12, 13), $\mathsf{p m},$ repeat from \* to end. Rnd 3: $^{\ast}\mathbf{k}$ to 2 st before m, k2tog, sm, repeat from \* to end. Rnd 4: K. Repeat rnds 3 & 4 until 8 st are left. Cut yarn and draw the tail through the last 8 st. Block and weave in ends.
