G hook Green Worsted weight yarn(MC) Red Worsted weight yarn (CC) Tapestry needle to weave in ends

Sc-Single Crochet Ch-Chain St(s)-Stitch(es) MC-Main Color CC-Contrasting Color
Round 1: with MC, Ch 2. 6 Sc in 2rd Ch from hook. Join. (6) Round2: Ch 1. 2 Sc in each St around. Join. (12) Round 3-5: Ch 1, Sc in each St around. Join. (12) Round 6(Brim): Change to CC. Sc over the last round worked, working in the same Sts that you used for round 5. This will make extra fat Sts for the brim. Join and fasten off. (12) Make a tiny pom pom using CC. (Attach an extra loop of string inside before cutting pom pom to use for hanging ornament) Attach the pom pom to the top of hat. Weave in all loose ends and hang on your tree!!
