Pattern Notes
Tank top is worked from the top down with straps added at the end. Sizing is approximate. It's best to get the exact measurements of the person the item is being made for and try on as you go if possible. If you have a coke bottle shape or larger hips, it may be helpful to go up 3 hook sizes from the one you started with about halfway down through the netting to widen the bottom of your top. Otherwise just go up 2 hook sizes.

Stitches Needed

Body
Loosely ch 85 (95,110,120,130). (You could also do a chainless foundation sc) Being careful not to twist the chain, join to 1st ch. in same st as ch 1 and in each ch around, join to 1st st. (85, 95,1. Rounds 2-4: Repeat round 1. (85, 95,110,120,130) \*Now move up two hook sizes and use that hook from here until told otherwise.\* Round 5: Ch 5, sk 3 st, sc in next st, \*ch 5, sk 3 st, sc in next st\*, repeat around until last ch 5. Do NOT join. Continue on to Round 6. Round 6: Continuing from round 5, sc in the 1st ch space, \*ch 5, sc in next ch 5 space\*. Continue to repeat this stitching around, without joining, until garment is about 16" (17", 18", 19", 20") long from top, or until your desired length. You may want to use a stitch marker to keep track of where you started. Once you have reached your desired length stop at your stitch marker. in ch 5 sp, 1 sc in sc, \*4 sc in ch 5 sp, 1 sc in next sc \* , repeat arc Round 8: Ch 1, 1 hdc in first st and in each stitch around. (85, 95,110,120,130) Fasten off.
Setup for Straps
Lay garment flat on a table or hard surface. Measure 2" in from one size and pin. Skip 8 stitches and pin again in the next stitch. Repeat on the other side.

Straps
You will now go back to the original hook size you began with. Join your yarn to the first st in between the marked stitches, ch 1 HDC in same st and in the next 7 stitches. Ch 1, turn, HDC in the same st and next 7 stitches (8 st) Repeat the last row until strap is 10" (11, 12, 13, 14) long. Fasten off. Do the same onthe othersideinbetweenthemarked stitchesbut donofasten off. Ch 1, turn, hdc in same st and in each stitch across, joining to the other strap with a hdc, and continue to hdc across to the end of the second st. (16 st.) Repeat for 9 more rows for a total of 10 hdc rows. Turn garment inside out and join straps to bottom piece by sl st in each st across. Make sure piece is centered before joining. Fasten off.
