Griffin at 15 Weeks Old. I knit this little hat from some pretty yarn lefftovers while I was pregnant with Griffin. It was so cute that I decided it would be his coming home from the hospital hat. I'm not really big on dressing babies up for things like that, but the hat seemed like a nice idea to me. Griffin was a little baby - 6 Ibs. 14 oz. - so it was too big for him to come home in, but he was able to wear it from about 3 weeks old through 17 weeks old. It was one of my favorite hats to put him in, and I'm so sad that he's outgrown it I may have to make another. Shape Crown
Decrease for crown shaping as follows. After the round when you k2tog all around for the size you are knitting and are left with 8 sts, knit one round even, and then cut the yarn leaving a 6-inch tail. Weave the tail through the live stitches using a tapestry needle and pull tightly. Weave in all ends. \*K15(0, 17,0, 19, 0,21, 0,23, 0), k2tog\* to end.
