Cast on 94 stitches in color A and join. PM 4 rows of color A 3 rows of color B 2 rows of color C The rest will be knit using Color D! Knit in pattern for 6.5" Next row begin decreases $\mathsf{*K11}.$ , K2tog\* repeat to end of row $\star|\mathsf{K}10_{\iota}$ K2tog\* repeat to end of row $^{*}\mathsf{K}\mathsf{9}$ , K2tog\* repeat to end of row $^{*}\mathsf{K}\mathsf{8}_{}$ , K2tog\* repeat to end of row $^{\ast}\mathsf{K}7,$ K2tog\* repeat to end of row continue to decrease in this manner, switching to dpn's as necessary, until you reach six stitches on needles. Cut yarn leaving 20"tail, and using tapestry needle pull yarn through all 6 stitches. Knot and weave in ends. Using tapestry needle and color E, duplicate stitch your black"seeds" at random intervals onto your hat.
