Materials:
1 skein of Princess Yarn @ 85 yards (Less yarn? knit with a larger needle) Size 10 1/2 - 11 circular needles, 16 in. length or size 13 circular needles, 16 in. length Size 10 1/2 double point needles (dpn) or size 13 dpn Crochethook Needlle
Finished Dimensions:
Wil fit head @ 20 -21” \~ Hat laying flat measures @ 10" across at brim and @ 10" from brim edge to tip.
Instructions:
\~Cast 60 st onto size 10 1/2 circ needles (48 st onto size 13 needles) \~Connect first round and knit until hat measures 4 inches in length. Place a marker every 10 st (on 13s every 12 st). \~First decrease round: \*K8, K2 tog\* (on 13s \*K10 K 2tog\*), repeat until one round is completed, \~ Knit 3 rows. \~Second decrease round, \*K7, K2tog\* (on 13s \*K9 K 2tog\*), repeating until one round is completed. \~Knit 3 rows. \~ Continue to decrease and knit 3 rows between each decrease, (switching to dpn when necessary), until é st remain on needles. \~Using a needle, connect all stitches and secure opening.
Princess tassels:
\~Using approx. size G crochet hook, make @ 6 chains about 1o inches in length Sew onto point of hat, securing inside. Attach ribbons to hang with tassels or tie ribbons and pearly trims throughout knitting for drama.
