Groundhog Coaster Pattern

Quick and Easy Groundhog Coaster!
DIRECTIONS:
with black yarn and using the magic loop metho Round 1: Chain 3, 11dc in loop, draw loop closed and join to top of ch3. (12 sts) Round 2: Change to brown and join to any st, ch3, dc in same st, then 2 DC in each st around, join to top of initial Ch3. (24 sts) Round 3: ch3, DC in same, DC in next st. (2dc, DC) around, join. (36 sts) Round 4: Ch2, Hdc in same, hdc in next 2 sts. (2hdc,hdc, hdc) around, join. (48 sts) Round 5: Skip 1 st, 5dc in next, skip1st, sl st in next 8, skip 1 st, 5dc in next, skip 1 st,/sl st in next. Finish off. Sew eyes with approximately 12" strand of black yarn (loop Ugaround 4x). Sew teeth with approximately 12" strand of white yarn (go around 3x). Or omit the teeth if it looks too much like a beaver...
MATERIALS:
Worsted weight yarn in brown (like Red Heart in Café Latte). Small Amount of worsted weight yarn in black. Small Amount of worsted weight yarn in white. Crochet hook, Size I Large Eye Needle for sewing

If you don't use the magic loop method, just ch4 and join to make a loop.
