Bind off -for all variations use a loose lace bind off on row/round 168 SQUARE: Lines not charted are knit. Cast on 8. Join. Knit around once. This counts as row 1. The charts are repeated 4 times around with a single stitch between repeats. square all the divider stitches are worked as (k1, O, k1) on charted rows. ALSO (for the square): for charted rows AFTER round 2: move the beginning of round (and other markers) one stitch to the left PRIOR to starting the charted row. (knit 1 additional stitch on the "resting" row.)
