Directions:

Using 1 strand of worsted weight yarn, or two strands of fingering weight yarn, cast on 8 stitches using a figure eight cast on or your favorite closed cast on method. Round 1: k1, m1 around (16 stitches) Round 2 and all even rounds:knit all Round 3: k2, m1 around (24 stitches) Round 5:k3,m1 around (32 stitches) Round 7: k4, m1 around (40 stitches) Round 9:k5,m1 around (48 stitches) Round 11: k6, m1 around (56 stitches) Round 13: k14, m1 around (60 stitches) Round 15: k1, m1, k9, m1 around (72 stitches) Round 17: k2,m1, k10, m1 around (84 stitches) Round 19: k3, m1, k11, m1 around (96 stitches) Round 21: k4, m1, k12, m1, around (108 stitches) Round 23: k5, m1, k11, k2tog around Round 25: k6, m1 k9, k2tog, k1 around Round 27: k7, m1, k7, k2tog, k2 around Round 29: k8, m1, k5, k2tog, k3 around Round 31: k9, m1, k3, k2tog, k4 around Round 33: k10, m1, k1, k2tog, k5 around Round 35: k1, m1, k14, k2tog, k1 around Round 37: k2, m1, k12, k2tog, k2 around Round 39: k3, m1, k10, k2tog, k3 around Round 41: k4, m1, k8, k2tog, k4 around Round 43: k5, m1, k6, k2tog, k5 around Round 45:k6, m1, k4,k2tog, k6 around Round 47: k7, m1, k2, k2tog, k7 around Round 49: k8,m1, k2tog,k8 around Rounds 50-54 (or until desired length) knit all Remaining rounds: k1tbl, p1 around until you have as many ribbing rounds as you did plain knitting rounds.
