
Hippy Crochet Flower Belt

Materials:
\*Size I or 5.5mm Crochet Hook (larger hook) \*Size G or 4.5 mm Crochet Hook (smaller hook) \*Tapestry Needle Note: This belt is worked from top to bottom, b/c it will get wider as you reach the bottom, naturally the same with a woman's hips. Its is done with an alternating pattern of DC and SC stitches so that DC stitches will be on the right side. This belt will be worked in rounds. Ch enough to fit around your waist ABOVE hips, then careful not to twist, slst to first ch. RND 1: Ch 3, dc in each chain around. Slst in first dc. RND 2: Ch 1, sc in each dc around. Slst in first sc. RND 3: Ch 3, dc in same stitch as joining and in each sc around. Slst in first sc. RND 4: Ch 1, sc in each dc around. Slst in first dc. RND 5: Ch 3, dc in same stitch as joining and in each sc around. Slst in first sc. RND 6: Ch 1, sc in each dc around, slst to first dc. RND 7: Ch 3, dc in same stitch as joining and in each sc around. SIst in first sc. RND 8: Ch 1, sc in each dc around, slst to first dc. RND 9: Ch 3, dc in same stitch as joining and in each sc around. Slst in first sc. RND 10: Ch 1, sc in each dc around, slst to first dc. Finish off, use tapestry needle to weave in loose ends.
Flower 1 ( Whole Flower)
With larger hook, ch 10, slst to form a ring RND 1: Ch 1, 15 sc in ring, slst to first sc. RND 2: (change color at this point if you like) Ch 1, sc in same space as joining, ch 6,\* sk 2 sc,sc in next space, ch 6 repeat from \* around, slst to first sc. ( 6 ch-6 loops) RND 3: SIst in next ch-6 loop, ch 1, (sc,ch2,dc,dc,tr,dc,dc,ch2,sc) in each ch sp. slst in first sc.
Flower 2 ( Half Flower)
With smaller hook, ch 10, slst to form a ring. Follow the pattern for Flower 1 through RND 2. RND 3: Slst in next ch-6 loop, ch 1 (sc,ch2,dc,dc,tr,dc,dc,ch2,sc) in next 5 ch-6 loops, leave last ch-6 loop unworked. $=5$ Petals and one skipped ch-6 loop using the tapestry needle, sew flowers where you want them.
