Baby Sunhat
Jules Ball 2015 I wrote this pattern in an attempt to achieve a straw type hat for a baby. I used 4ply and a 5mm hook to give it an open, airy finish. You could try it with DK and a larger hook, or even with 4ply and a smaller hook. Whatever you fancy and have stashed away. This is the 1st pattern that I have written, I hope you enjoy it :) This is the hat using 4ply and a 5mm hook

Fasten off and weave in ends. I used a grossgrain spotty ribbon and weaved it through the gaps in between the X stitches, added a ribbonflower. You could add any sort of embellishment that you like. I would love to see your results :)
