Special Stitches:
sc dec: Insert hook into stitch; yarn over and pull through the stitch. Insert hook into next stitch, yarn over and pull through the stitch. You now have three loops on your hook. Yarn over and pull through all three loops.
Notes:
The two chs at the beginning of the strap count as the first dc when beginning brim. The numbers in parentheses at the end of each row indicate the number of stitches in that row. Be creative! Embellish your completed visor with buttons, special stitches, flowers...anything to make it unique!

Strap: Using MC, ch 60. Row 1: Dc in 3rd ch from hook. (Count ch 2 at beginning as first DC.) Dc across. Fasten off and weave in ends.(59) Brim: (NOTE: In Row 1, sc in front loop only. In remaining rows, crochet through both loops.) Row 1: With right side of strap facing you, using MC, sl st in 20th dc from end. In front loop only, sc in same ch and in next 19 sc. Ch 1. Turn. (20) : dec. Sc across to last two sts. Sc dec in last two sts. Ch 1. Turn. (18) Row 3: Sc dec. Sc across to last two sts. Sc dec in last two sts. Ch 1. Turn. (16) Row 4: Sc dec. Sc across to last two sts. Sc dec in last two sts. Fasten off and weave in ends. Ch 1. Turn.
