Rib: K tbl 1, P1 $\bf{P M}=$ Place marker $\mathrm{{SKP=}}$ slip one, knit one, pass slipped stitch over $\mathrm{\bfSM=}$ Stitch marker. CO 42 st. Join. PM. Work rib for 8 rounds. Lace 1: \*YO, $\mathbf{S}\mathbf{K}\mathbf{P}^{*}$ rep. 'til the end of the round. K next round. Rep. 8 times. Heel: Work stockinette stitch with 1o sts before and 10 after SM for 14 rows, ending with right side facing. Turn. SL 1, P 12 sts, P2TOG, turn. \*SL 1, K7, SKP, turn. SL 1 P7, P2TOG, turn\* Rep \*_\* 'til you have 8 sts on needle. From the side of the heel flap pick up 6 sts. Work rib with 22 sts, pick up 6 sts for other side of heel flap, K 4.
Work rib 8 rounds. $^{*}\mathbf{K}$ 10 Work Lace 1 with 22 sts, K 10\* Rep. \*-\* 8 times. Lace 2: K1 \*YO K2TOG\* rep. ‘til the end of round. K next round. rep. 8 times. Work rib 8 rounds. Toes: K 8, K2TOG, work chart row 1, SKP, K 'til the end. K7, K2TOG, work chart row 2, SKP, K 'til the end. K6, K2TOG, work chart row 3, SKP, K 'till the end. Cont. working in this way 'til you finish row 9 on chart. Cut yarn and thread through remaining sts. Tighten. Knit another one.
