Festive slouched hat
This pattern is a variant on Turvid's Slouched Tuva Hat, with twice as many holes! It's a quick knit - first made as an emergency hat for wearing ice skating pre-Christmas. I think it's best made sparkly to get you in thefestivespirit! Skill Level: Easy - as long as you can knit in the round, you should be OK! Yarn: King Cole Galaxy DK - about two-thirds of a 50g ball (approx 135 yards) You will need: 3.5mm (Us 4); 60cm circular needle and dpns, 1 stitch marker Gauge: 18sts = 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch
Abbreviations: St(s) = stitch(es) K = knit yo = yarn over K2tog = knit two stitches together Pattern Cast on 90 sts. Place marker and join to knit in round.
Ribbing: Knit 1, purl 1 until the ribbing measures 1 inch (2.5 cm)

Round 1-3: Knit all sts Round 4: (K2tog, yo) repeat to end (to stitch marker) Round 5: Knit all sts Repeat rounds 4-5 until your work measures 7 inches (18 cm), ending with round 4.
