Materials
1 x 100g skein Dazzle (DK) Shade sweet violet Pair of 4mm knitting needles. Wool needle for sewing up. Length of waste yarn or two stitch holders. Jote: Yarn amounts given are based on average requirements and are approximate.
Tension
22 sts and 29 rows to 10cm using 4mm needles over st st after light steaming. Use larger or smaller needles if necessary to obtain correct tension.
Double (three needle) cast off
Hold the two pieces of knitting with right sides together (purl sides facing out) with the points of both needles to the right hand side. Insert a third knitting needle through the first stitch on both the front and back needles and knit these together, removing the stitches from the needles. Do the same with the next st on both the front and back needles and then cast off as usual by bringing the loop of the first st on the right hand needle over the second st. Repeat until all sts are cast off.
