Cayley May Pullover Bib
I designed this for a friend of my oldest daughter who just had her first child (yep, her name is Cayley May). Her grandmother crochetssoTdecidedtodosomethingknitforher.Thavenever liked bibs that tie, and an over-the-head bib seemed the perfect Ssolution. Size: 11.5-16 inches head circumference. Bib measures 6.5 inches wide, 7 inches tall.
Materials
· Approximately 3 oz worsted weight cotton (l used I Love This Cotton from Hobby Lobby; I also like Cotton Tots) . Size 7 circulars (l used dpns because I don't have a short size 7 circular or one long enough for magic loop) . Size 7 straight needles .Stitch marker

TE: This project could be worked flat and ribbed section sewn closed.

Pattern
CO 64 stitches; join, making sure not to twist stitches. Place marker. Work 2x2 ribbing (k2, p2) for 1.5 inches. BO 24 stitches in the 2x2 rib pattern. Work remaining sts in 2x2 ribbing. (40 sts remain) NOTE: You will begin working flat and turning project (I switched to straight needles). R1 (WS) sl1pw, p to last st, k1. (40 sts) R2 (RS) s1pw, \*yo, k2, pass yo over k2, rep from \* to last st, k1. R3 sl1pw, p to last st, k1. Repeat R2-3 12 times. BO in purl, cut yarn and weave ends.
