Use a yarn needle to weave the yarn through the remaining stitches, pull it tight to make the top of the hat. Weave in ends. Block if desired. Mohawk: Cut pieces of yarn in allfour colors, about 3" long. (l use a piece of cardboard folded in half, wrapped the yarn around it and then cut it all at once) Using a crochet hook, make two rows of fringe (just how you would normally attach fringe) that go from the center front of the hat to the center back. I use three strands of yarn at a time, all in different colors, and try to vary enough to make it look random. Tassles: (make 2) Cut about 9 pieces of yarn, (in all colors) about 16" long, divide into three even sections, use a crochet hook to pull the sections through the end of the earflap, braid the sections, tie Ooff.
