Toddler Sun Hat -Crochet pattern
Notes: This hat is made in the round for a smoother look. Each round can be finished by connecting with a slip stitch to the first single crochet instead if preferred. If you add or subtract increase rounds you get a larger or smaller hat. You can also add more inc rounds to the brim to make it longer. Materials: Worsted weight cotton yarn (you can substitute any WW yarn) about 4ozs yarnneedle placemarker size H-5.00 mm hook GAUGE: About 4 sts per inch (per 2.5 cm) Finished hat measures ABOUT 19.5 inches (48.75 cm) in circumference. ch = chain sl st = slip stitch sc = single crochet bl = back loop dc = double crochet inc = increase sk = skip st = stitch pm = place marker rep = repeat
PATTERN
ch 3, connect with sl st, ch 1, 6 sc into ring, pm. (6 sc) -OR 6 sc into magic loop, pm. (6 sc)

(78 sts) At this point the hat is toddler size (about a 3T). If you add or subtract increase rounds here you get a larger or smaller hat.
