Approx. 5 stitches per inch To make bag, cast on 15 to 16 stitches, depending on desired stitch pattern. Moss stitch, double moss stitch, or seed stitch work well, giving the miniature bag a textured look. Work in stitch pattern of choice until piece measures approximately 6"; bind off. Sew side seams. For l-cord handles,(make 2), with dpn, cast on 3 stitches. Work I-cord for 5". Fasten off. Attach handles to bag. Wind small amounts of assorted color yarn into \*hanks". Wrap yarn ends tightly around middle of each hank and secure. Arrange yarn hanks inside bag. To make miniature knitting needles, glue beads onto ends of toothpicks. When glue is dry, push toothpick points into yarn hanks where they are wrapped in the center. Display proudly and bask in the compliments!
