INSIDE EARS - make 2
Rnd 1: With pink and J hook, ch 6, 1sc in $2^{n d}$ ch from hook, 1hdc in each of the next 3ch, 5dc in last ch. Now working on the opposite side of chs, 1hdc in each of the next 3ch, 1sc in last ch. Fasten off. Put aside.
OUTSIDE EARS - make 2
Rnd 1: With Boucle and Soft Baby white held tog and J hook, ch 6, 1sc in $2^{n d}$ ch from hook, 1hdc in each of the next 3ch, 5dc in last ch. Now working on the opposite side of chs, 1hdc in each of the next 3ch, 1sc in last ch. Ch 1, turn. Do not fasten off. Pick up pink ear and hold in front of white ear and make 1sc in each st around 3sides of ears. Then fold bottom of ear in half and make 1sc in each of the 2 sts at bottom of ear. Fasten off

EARFLAPS for all hat sizes
Notes: you now need to position your sts so the you are under the first ear and find the center 7sts under that ear. Sc over to where that $7^{+h}$ St will be. ROW 1: 1sc in each sc over to where you want your first earflap to be. Ch1, turn. Leaving the rest of the row unworked for now. ROW 2: 1sc in each of the next 7sc. Ch1, turn. (7sc) ROW 3: 1sc in each of the next 7sc. Ch1, turn. (7sc) ROW 4: Dec $1^{s\dagger}$ 2sc tog, 1sc in each of the next 3sc, dec last 2sc tog. Ch1,turn.(5sc) ROW 5: 1sc in each of the next 5sc. Ch1, turn. (5sc) ROW 6: Dec $1^{s\dagger}$ 2sc tog, 1sc in the next sc, dec last 2sc tog. Ch1,turn. (3sc) ROW 7:1sc in each of the next 3sc. Ch1, do not turn. (3sc) Slst down left side of ear flap and work 1sc in sc across to other side of hat where you would like to place the second ear flap. Ch1,turn. Repeat rows 2 to 7 for $2^{n d}$ ear flap. Then 1sc in each of the remaining sc that are left in that rnd.
TRIM AND TIES
1sc in each sc around and 1sc around entire ear flaps, and at the same time when you get to the center of the ear flap ch28, 1slst in $2^{n d}$ ch from hook, 1slst in each remaining ch, slst to beg st, 1sc in each st around to other ear flap and ch28, 1slst in $2^{n d}$ ch from hook and 1slst in each remaing ch, 1slst in beg st, 1sc in each remaining sc. Slst to join. Fasten off and tie in ends.
LEAVES
With seaspray mist and $\boldsymbol{\Theta}$ hook, ch8, sc in 2nd ch from hook, then do the following working one stitch in each chain. (hdc,dc,trb,dc,hdc,), 3sc's in last ch, now working on opposite side of ch. Work (hdc,dc,trb,dc,hdc,) sc in last st and slst to join . Fasten off leaving about a 12" tail to sew with. Attach leaves where desired.
ROSE
With purple mist color and G hook, ch10, 3sc's in 2nd ch from hook, 3sc's in the next 2chs, 3hdc's in each of the next 3chs, 3dc's in each of the next 3chs. Fasten off leaving about a 12" tail to work with. Roll stitches into a rose shape. Run some stitches thru the bottom of the rose to hold it together.
