Frog Tree Alpaca Wool Fingering (215 yds) 4 skeins in Yellow (color 10) Needles, size 6 US Tapestry needle

Gauge:

24 stitches and 28 rows over 4" in Stockinette stitch after blocking FinishedMeasurements: $\mathbf{16}"$ by $68^{\,\ast}$ afterblocking

Seed Stitch:

(Worked over an odd number of stitches) $\because\!\!\!\mathsf{K}\boldsymbol{1}$ , Pl; repeat from \* across, ending K1.

Scarf:

Cast on 85 stitches using longtail cast on. Work 21 rows in seed stitch. Next row: Work 15 stitches in seed stitch, place marker, knit 11, place marker, work 11 in seed stitch, place marker, knit 11, place marker, work 11 in seed stitch, place marker, knit 11, place marker, work 15 in seed stitch. Row l: Seed 15, purl 11, seed 1l, purl 1l, seed 1l, purl 1l, seed 15. Row 2: Seed 15, knit 1l, seed 11, knit 11, seed 11, knit 1l, seed 15. Repeat rows 1 and 2 until scarf measures 66", ending with row 1. Work 21 rows in seed stitch. Bind off loosely using sewn bind off.

Finishing:

Weave in ends and block as desired.
