Peacock eye Mobius

Adapted from “#87f Air Eucalyptus Mobius Shawl" by Etsuko Taniuchi Mobius cast on 100 (or any multiple of 5 that will give you a pleasing length) Knit a round plain (will look like a knit row then purl row) \*yo, 2Tog, k3\* entire round. Second round, the third stitch of the k3 should fall on the first yo of the first round. If it doesn't, fudge by leaving out a 2Tog or adding an extra 2Tog so you end up with the new round starting in the right place in the pattern. As long as the previous round looks like a yarn over with 4 stitches, you are golden! Do a total of 5 rounds in this pattern. Knit a plain round. Knit a plain round. There should be a garter stitch bump that looks a lot like the cast on round. Start the pattern again \*yo, 2Tog, K3\* wherever you would like the new "eye" to line up. I did them so the bases nearly touched. Knit 5 rounds and a plain round, w/t plain round and 5 more pattern rounds until you are pleased with the width. I got 8 "eyes" of the single skein. Here is an attempt at a chart for this lace.. Okk k\ okkklokkklokkkl.. T Okkk\O Kkk\ Okkk\oKk k.. K\OKkK\OKKK\OKKK\OKK ... Kkl ok kk\ok kk\ ok kk\o k... Kkk\ o Kkk\ okkk\o kkkIo...

O is a yarn over, \is a 2Tog, K is a knit.

And my ever-patient daughters modeling the project.
