PATTERN
Seed Stitch Pattern: Row 1: k1, p1 Row 2: p1, k1
If you're a beginner, this is a great stitch pattern to start "looking" at your work. So many times, we blindly read patterns without actually looking at our stitches and getting to know what our knits and purls look like. Starting with Row 2, when you see a purl bump, knit. And when you see a knit stitch, purl. It helps to pull your knitting down to stretch out the stitches. Cast-on: 42 stitches with first color. Row 1: Seed stitch until end. Row 2: Continue with seed stitch until end. Repeat rows 1 and 2 until the first ball of yarn runs out. Change to second color. Continue in seed stitch until that ball of yarn runs out. Continue changing between the two colors until you're done with yarn, or have come to your desired scarf length.
