Width: 9 inches Length: 17 inches Gauge - 5 sts/6 rows $=$ 1" in stockinette stitch Summertime is that time of the year to exhale and relax as much as possible. The ocean, embodies this feeling for me as well as. wonderfully cool cotton yarns. The soft green color and sweeping waves within SeaFoam depict the wonderful calming effect of a summer's day on the beach. The small towel is a great summer project because it only requires one ball of yarn and is quickly completed. Make several orjust one and pair it with a great bar of soap or lotion and you have a fabulous gift for the upcoming holiday season. Best of allthe smooth feeling of cotton willnot make you too hot and it is the perfect project to knit while on the beach or poolside.Later on use the same pattern with lace yarn and create a great flowing scarf for the winter to remind you summer is just a short time away. Pattern Notes - You can create the towel any length and end on any row. Stitch markers should be placed before and after the separate sections in order to maintain the stitch sequence.
