Happy Katarina shawl is a simple one-piece shawl created by using modified version of a traditional Estonian lace stitch pattern Torni kiri (from the book "Haapsalu sall" by Siri Reimann and AimeEdasi).

Directions

NB! Charts are showing only right side stitches. All stitches in even rows are purls except edge stitches. Knit edge stitches in all rows.

Casting

Cast on 87 stitches. (3 edge stitches + 1 stitch +10 · x times + 3 edge stitch)

Edge lace I

Repeat Chart 1 12 times.

Middle part

Continue with knitting according rows 1-14 from Chart 2. Repeat Chart 2 as many times as needed.

Edge lace Il

Repeat Chart 1 15 times. Cast off
