Materials: 2 to 3 ounces #4 yarn H hook #3 weight with G hook works well also, just makes a little smaller so you have to allow for that Point cluster: dc, ch 1, dc, ch 3, dc, ch 1, dc all in same stitch or you can consider it a v stitch, ch 3, V stitch, all in same stitch V Stitch: Double Crochet, Chain 1, Double Crochet FPdc: Front Post Double Crochet BPdc: Back Post Double Crochet Note; It may make it easier if you mark the corners Chain 60 Join with a slip stitch to form a ring Row 1. Ch 3 (counts as first dc) now and throughout. Dc into each ch, slip stitch in top of beginning ch 3. total of 60 dc Row 2. Ch 3, 6 dc in same stitch, skip 2 dc, sc in next stitch, skip 2 dc, \*7 dc in next stitch (shell made), skip 2 dc, sc in next stitch repeat from \* around. Join with slip stitch in top of beginning ch 3. total of 10 shells Row 3: Do a slip stitch back one stitch into sc (see pic), ch 4, dc in same stitch, ch 5, point cluster in next sc (first corner made). ch 5 V stitch in next sc, ch 5, point cluster in next sc (second corner made) ch 5 V stitch in each of the next 2 sc, ch 5, point cluster in next sc, (third corner made) ch 5 V stitch in next sc, ch 5 point cluster in next sc, (fourth corner made) ch 5, V stitch in last sc, ch 5. Join with slip stitch to beginning ch 4.

Join with slip stitch in top of beginning ch 3. Rows 7-10. Repeat Rows 5 and 6. Finish off Note: This is where you can easily adjust the pattern to make bigger or smaller, just add or delete some rows, just end with row six. Row 11. Fold in half (short sides will be the front and back), join with slip stitch through sc in corners of both sides (both thicknesses). (You will now be working in rounds). Ch 4, dc in same stitch, (ch 5, v stitch), in each sc across to next corner work v stitch through both sides of sc at corner. Continue with (ch 5, v stitch) in each sc around, join with slip stitch in top of beging chain 4.

Join with slip stitch to beginning chain.
