Wicked Woollens
Seaweed Headband
Designed by: Sally Pointer (www.sallypointer.com) Description: Inspired by long fril strands of seaweed washed up in the surf, this headband is a deceptively quick and simple knit. A frilld edge and easy to knit eyelet pattern create a fun, relaxed fit band that works particularly well on curly or unruly hair.
Finished Measurements:
To fit an average adult head. For a smaller head or stretchy yarn, just start with less stitches. The pattern can be reduced further to suit different sizes or yarns, as long as you have a multiple of 6 stitches in the main body of the headband it will work. (Numbers in brackets offer one size down as an example calculation)
