Stitch count = 57 sts.
Colour works Crosswalk in green and grey:
Work stockinette stitch. Work 2 rows 1 st grey and 1 st green alternating. Work 2 rows green. Work 2 rows 1 st grey and 1 st green alternating. Cut the grey thread. Tip: I work one row in the alternating pattern twice - first every second stitch in grey and then every second stitch in green. The edge stitch I worked with both threads.

The coloured areas in the chart above are replaced by the street patterns below. Continue with green yarn. Odd rows are RS, even rows are Ws. Work the sts of even rows as they appear. Work 24 rows. Then change coulour to brown and work the 24 rows a second time.
