The coloured areas in the chart above are replaced by the street patterns and the tree chart below. Change colour to black. Odd rows are RS, even rows are Ws. Work the sts of even rows as they appear. Work 20 rows of the street pattern left and right and in the middle the tree motif. Then work the 26 rows of the tree motif over the both street motifs. Continue the middle chart untilrow26.
pattern repeat I think, it is easier to work at the following chart. It shows the complete black yarn section. The grey fields are purled on odd rows. Work all 48 rows.
